Where character sheets matter. Where narrative comes first. Where the night has teeth.
play.lossantosafterdark.com
A tabletop chronicle that happens to run on FiveM. Your sheet is real, your dice are real, and the city remembers what you did last night.
Los Santos is not the problem. What lives in it is. Behind the palm trees and the traffic there are courts holding rank, packs holding territory, and things holding onto the last of their humanity with both hands.
Every dot counts. Attributes and Abilities drive real outcomes, Backgrounds open real doors, and Flaws have teeth. Experience is spent with a Storyteller, not farmed.
Systems exist to support the narrative, never to replace it. No grind, no chores, no daily quests. Turn up, play your character, and let the night do the rest.
Almost everything here was written for this server, and most of it started as a player suggestion. Your voice shapes the chronicle and the code underneath it.
This world is not safe. You can lose. You can fail. You can die. There is no plot armour here and no guaranteed ending.
Do you dare risk it?
Eleven whitelisted paths, each with its own sheet, its own powers and its own way of getting you killed. Select one to see what it involves.
Over sixty systems written specifically for this server. Not bought, not borrowed, not a reskinned crime script with fangs.
V20, W20, M20 and C20 sheets built in game: Attributes, Abilities, Backgrounds, Merits and Flaws, all reviewed by a Storyteller before they hit the street.
Every roll pulls your actual dots, applies difficulty, wound penalties and botches, and shows the table what happened. No honour system, no maths homework.
Disciplines, Gifts, Arts, Spheres and Edges that genuinely change the scene, paid for out of pools that drain: Blood, Rage, Glamour, Quintessence, Conviction.
Camarilla and Anarch domains with status and boons that are tracked, Garou packs with ranks, and titles that mean something because a player holds them.
The clock runs on a split schedule so the dark hours stretch further than the daylight ones. When the sun does come up, some of you will need to be indoors.
Witnesses see what you do, the Delirium works the way the books say it does, and breaking the Masquerade in front of the wrong crowd starts a real problem.
The Umbra, the Dreaming and the trods between them are real destinations with their own rules, their own weather and their own reasons to leave quickly.
Homes you own and furnish, businesses you run, real estate, markets, government careers, a prison you would rather avoid, and a full mortal life to lose.
Phones, radio, email, SchreckNet and a control panel on this very site: your character keeps their contacts, their money and their history between sessions.
Four steps between you and the street. Two of them are read by a human being, so take your time over them.
Home base for announcements, questions and finding a scene. Your whitelist is tied to your Discord account, so start here.
Fifteen questions on our rules, our roleplay standards and the setting itself. Written in your own words, read by staff. Start it here.
Mortals can log in as soon as entry is approved. Anything with claws needs a splat whitelist for the lineage you want.
Open FiveM, connect to play.lossantosafterdark.com, and let the first download finish. Then find out what is out there.
New to FiveM entirely? You will need GTA V (Legacy edition) and the free FiveM client. We wrote the whole thing down for you.

Character art by Rdog. More of it, and the rest of the team, on the staff page.
Yes, and plenty of our players started exactly there. Read the lore primers, come in as a mortal, and learn the setting from inside it. Our Storytellers would rather teach a keen newcomer than manage a veteran who will not share the spotlight.
A legitimate copy of GTA V (the Legacy edition, not Enhanced) and the free FiveM client. FiveM is made by Cfx.re, costs nothing, and is safe to install. The full walkthrough lives on the getting started page.
Yes. Permanent death requires Storyteller approval and a player and Storyteller jury, and it has to follow roleplay that actually earned it. It is not a random gank, but it is also not off the table. You agree to that risk when you whitelist.
No. Mortals only need the entry whitelist, then you can log in and build your sheet. Criminals, medics, deputies, business owners and the merely curious all have a place, and mortals are usually the first to notice something is wrong with this city.
Every application is read by hand, so it depends on the queue. The most common reason for a resubmission is low-effort answers, so write in your own words and give each question a proper go. You can track your progress from the UCP.
The World of Darkness deals in horror, manipulation, violence and moral corruption, and we do not sand the edges off. We do run consent tools in game, fade to black is mandatory in several situations, and erotic roleplay is not permitted on the server. The rules page spells all of it out.
The whitelist takes an evening. The chronicle takes as long as your character survives.
